About Us

The idea for the Eye of the Prism began when Cathryn attended a festival where various sun catchers were displayed. Mesmerized by the beauty of the rainbows reflected through the prisms by the sun, she knew she wanted to create more of these using her own designs.

Using Swarovski Crystals whenever possible, her designs bring out the beauty of the sun as its rays dance through the crystals.

With her mother's bout with breast cancer and other dear friends who have bravely fought the disease, Cathryn has decided to give back by donating 10% of the profits from the sale of any of the Breast Cancer Survivor 'sun catchers' to the Breast Cancer Society. Watch for the posted dollars donated.

She is very blessed in her life and has also decided to donate 10% of the profits from the sale of the other sun catchers to either the Food Banks and/or Homeless Shelters in AZ and around the nation. Watch for the posted dollars donated.

In 2013 Eye of the Prism, true to its vision of making one-of-a-kind products, has added a number of other artistic pieces to its collection. Along with the various sun catchers, we now offer pendants, earrings, bracelets fashioned by fusing colors of glass and firing them to produce magnificent pieces; incredible pieces of inlay using gem stones fashioned into fine jewelry; and a cosmetic line featuring products made from the bee hive.
